Like much of the world, the last few months have made us re-imagine the way we work and the ways in which we fulfill our mission. Thanks to hard work from Dr. Deborah Walter of the Rose Hulman Institute of Technology and from our staff - especially our Student Programs Director Ben Fleishman and our Summer Institute Manager Megan Lavery - we are excited to build new connections through a virtual program this summer. And thanks very much to you, our supporters, who have reached out to us with kind words, innovative ideas, and donations, all of which have helped us stay confident and motivated in the face of great uncertainty.…

So much has happened in the month since our last newsletter. As you may know, we are not able to run our Institute programs this summer but we are still working to do what we can for biomedical engineers around the globe. If you're looking for ways to help, our BMET Library is accepting new resources such as equipment manuals to help BMETs everywhere keep their hospital equipment up and running. We also encourage you to reach out to our friends at Project C.U.R.E. if you're looking to volunteer.…

We've got some big news! Our office is relocating to Durham, NC. In even bigger news, our CEO, Leslie Calman, is planning to retire by the end of this year after 7 years with EWH.…
