Kits for Classrooms

Engineering World Health brings STEM activities to classrooms for free.

EWH wants to provide STEM hands-on learning opportunities to students from all backgrounds as part of EWH's 2021 Engineering Education priority. EWH forms partnerships with corporate sponsors to bring FREE STEM activities to classrooms. EWH provides supplies and lesson materials, and works with teachers to fit the activity into their curriculum, implement the activity and guide students through a virtual build session. Sponsors cover the cost of supplies, have a representative join the virtual build session, and share STEM career opportunities with students. This program is free to students and teachers in the United States.

Engineering World Health is prioritizing the participation of Title I schools to foster accessibility to STEM fields. This is an excellent opportunity to bring STEM Outreach to students who lack access. The program is also open to all schools interested in participating on a first come, first serve basis, as we have limited availability.

If you do not teach at a Title 1 school or otherwise serve students underrepresented in STEM, but are interested in bringing the Kits for Classrooms package to your class, it is available for purchase at $1,500 per 20 students. The Kits are reusable.

Introduce students to engineering and global health!

Our lesson materials introduce students to the key concepts behind each EWH Kit, what the devices do in real medical settings, and how engineering can play a role in global health. Building the Kits provides students with hands-on experience as they learn engineering skills. EWH strives to connect classroom learning with real world applications so that students feel empowered to make change and explore STEM careers.
