Today, the Stevens Initiative announced the Virtual Innovation Exchange program, implemented by Engineering World Health, is one of 18 programs funded as part of the Stevens Initiative Response to the Coronavirus Pandemic. Like much of the world, the last few months have made us re-imagine the way we work and the ways in which we fulfill our mission. Thanks to hard work from Dr. Deborah Walter of the Rose Hulman Institute of Technology and from our staff - especially our Student Programs Director Ben Fleishman and our Summer Institute Manager Megan Lavery - we are excited to build new connections through a virtual program this summer. As Fall approaches, there's no rest for the staff at EWH! As we finish up a successful set of 2019 Summer Institutes, we're hard at work planning 3 Institutes beginning in December (in Guatemala, Cambodia and Uganda) and 8 -- count 'em -- 8 Summer Institutes. We'll be in Kenya for the first time, and in Tanzania, Rwanda, Uganda,Guatemala, and Nepal. There will be two separate Institutes in the Dominican Republic.
